             The “Grouse” is a Precision Stainless Steel tool designed to help remove and install the seals on completely              assembled equipment 

 

               My design allows you to hold the tool into place over the shaft seal in the housing without having to                       disassemble anything

 

The “Grouse” has a set of guide holes for you to use with a 1/8 drill bit to safely puncture the metal ring in the seals you are removing

 

There are another set of holes to guide the screws safely into the holes you have just drilled, securing the seal to the “Grouse”

 

Then the "Grouse"can be pried upwards to remove the seal

 

               Screws and Drill bits used are safely contained within the “Grouse” to avoid damaging any sealing surfaces

 

When used correctly there is no chance to damage the Housing or the  shaft while replacing the seals

 

The same tool can be used to install the new seals back to factory depth without having to measure
